Oxides and Ultramarines

Oxides and Ultramarines are oil dispersible pigments and therefore do not dissolve.  They need to be mixed well with an oil to prevent clumps of pigment in your finished product.  Add evenly colored oil to your batch and mix well.  These pigments will settle to the bottom of your product if you use too much or if your product is very thin in consistency. Ttrial and error may be necessary to use these pigments.  These pigments tend to be on the earthy side and can be blended to get complex muted colors.
