Cosmetic Wax Storage Tips and Guidelines
Solid Wax Products
Store beeswax, floral waxes, jojoba wax beads candelilla, carnauba and other solid waxes in airtight bags or containers. Keep your waxes in a cool, dry location.
Jojoba Esters
Keep jojoba esters in airtight containers, and store in a cool, dry location. Don't allow unsterilized items like your fingers to come into direct contact with the esters that you are storing. Instead, scoop out the quantity that you need using a clean utensil and leave the integrity of your primary supply intact. Avoid coughing or sneezing in proximity to your esters.
Bee's Milk
Bee's Milk should be stored and handled as carefully as vegetable oils. Because Bee's Milk contains water and oil, it can go rancid over time. The tips for storing vegetable oils can be helpful for also storing Bee's Milk.
